I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We used to have a pecan tree in the backyard.

hip deep in pie

I am surprisingly conservative about choclate chips. I don't like them in cake, brownies or icecream. (chocolate chunks in ice cream OTOH)

Raisins have ruined the oatmeal cookie.

Speak to me Tom!

I don't like raisins in much or anything.

I love walnuts, pine nuts, pecans. Peanuts are good, but they do not love me.

I have been in the dumps all week. I am discontented with everything: home, work, lack of social life, blah. But it's kind of one of those doldrums that's self-sabotaging. I should have gone out tonight but I bailed. And an invitation to the country this weekend, which would cheer me up, is just stressing me out. I need a happy kick in the pants.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can either of us find it again?

I still had the link open, which was why I asked. I couldn't remember if I'd followed through and submitted in the first place. Let me resubmit.

Man, I feel under the weather. Why am I sick all the time? The doctor asked me if it could be ulcers--was I having hard times? HAR. But do ulcers or indigestion give you a fever?

information libertarian

We have five immense pecan trees in the backyard. The squirrel mafia grabs all the nuts, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I still had the link open, which was why I asked. I couldn't remember if I'd followed through and submitted in the first place. Let me resubmit.

Thanks.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, sarameg, that's heartbreaking to hear about your folks' xeriscaping.

Yeah, we're worried about flooding too, but we also need the water.

Because books.

How high is the fever, ita? If it's under 100, you shouldn't worry too much. Otherwise, it generally means your body is fighting some kind of infection.

I like pecans in pie, and I like peanuts. I'm not a big nut eater.

Because books.

I wish Sue lived near ME. We could totally be ... down in the dumps together. Or something.
