Because books.

I'm pretty anti-raisin in most things. I definitely like my oatmeal cookies unadulterated.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Neither chocolate chips nor raisins belong in oatmeal cookies.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have no strong opinions on these topics.

Chocolate chips do not belong in oatmeal cookies. Raisins do.

Exactly. And nuts: my perfect oatmeal cookie has both raisins and walnuts in it. Or pecans. Yum.

But I often put chocolate chips in banana bread, at least I do for yeasty banana bread. Quick banana bread gets no chocolate chips from me, though. Dunno why.

Art Crawl!!!

I love choco chips in banana bread.

It's overcast here and has definitely cooled down. So much nicer than it has been in days and days.

Woo for adult socialization!

Which means HOOKERS AND BLOW.

ION, xkcd has made me want to re-watch LotR: [link] Yup, all I need is that tenuous of a connection to want to re-consume media. (I heard Dusty Springfield's "I Only Want to Be with You" in the car on the way home and now I want to re-read "Welcome to Temptation." I really am *that* easily swayed.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay adultness!

I am meh on raisins in my oatmeal cookies. I did however go to a little local bakery today with my mom and we got cinnamon rolls and sugar cream pie. Nom.

I am seriously gaining weight here at my mom's house. She believes I am otherwise underfed, appearances to the contrary.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Eh, I can take or leave chocolate chips in most non-standard places.

Whereas, I'm NUTS about NUTS!

I like nuts in almost everything, as well as by themselves, by the handful. Not annoying fake hazelnut or almond flavoring, but actual nuts. In salads, desserts, bread, cookies, on most breakfast foods (haven't found a good way to incorporate them in eggs and bacon yet), and even as a substitute breading on fish. Hmmmm. I'm noticing a lack of nut-related soups in that list. I'll have to do something about that.
