Because books.

Seriously. Wow.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

The tile guy keeps going out to the garage to cut tile, and every time he goes in and out, he slams the door. This is going to be such a long day.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was thinking maybe alternating freestyle with breast stroke to start. I am tying to get in shape, basically, but I'm really out of shape at the moment.

Pix, when I started my swimming in January, I just began going at a sane pace for me and for as long as I could before I was beat. I alternated freestyle and backstroke, and began at 18 laps. Then, I just added two laps with every swim until I worked my way up to a mile (33 laps), and then started whittling the time down by not taking as many breaks and then figuring out ways to speed it up a bit. The speed came on its own, and the endurance just built up over the weeks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Want to weep. I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach ache reminiscent of the hepatitis and sweating like a pig and shaking shaking shaking. It's calmed down to basically workable, so I'm in the office, but if something doesn't change in the next hour, I may go to urgent care. This bitch HURTS. And I don't want to do hepatitis again. But I haven't thrown up yet. Am avoiding solid food.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I am working from home today, since my workplace was cyberattacked on Friday.

Whoa. Were they after information?

I had completely missed the rise of hooping. I was pathetic with a hula hoop when I was young and agile.

Because books.

Yikes, ita. If it gets bad, definitely go to urgent care. I don't know if the hepatitis can recur, but it's a chance you shouldn't take.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, no, ita! Urgent care sounds like the right move, I have to say.

Yep. They didn't get anything, but they had to take the whole system down and patch it, or something. Basically, it's a giant pain in the ass. Though much more so for the IT people who had to work through the three-day holiday weekend.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, y'all.

ita, go see a doctor, please. I feel like my aunt's current medical problems have been exacerbated by her putting off going to the doctor at various points, and I attribute a lot of that to her chronic pain, so the new thing doesn't seem that bad, or whatever.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Shrift, what happened with the hotel?

Despite the fact that they were given two different credit cards from two different people who checked in and out at different times, they only charged one card.
