Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"Innocent until proven guilty" in practice seems to turn into "Guilty until proven innocent" or even "guilty even when there is overwhelming evidence for innocent". But if the defense attorney is pricey enough then "innocent until proven guilty" really does become the standard.

Yes, class and especially race figure into this situation quite significantly.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The jury didn't have an option of negligent homicide. They had 1st and 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse, I think. I only know this because I happened to be walking by one of the TVs in the hallway when the verdict was being announced.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jesse, what is your question? Did you want to know whether I made that top comment? Because I totally did.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

In the ongoing Noodle saga. She is coming out of her hiding places on her own more often. She slept under the covers with K-Bug last night. Today I held her and walked her through the rest of the house. She and Miss Kitty had a staring contest but no hissing or other negative behavior. I didn't put Noodle down, but they definitely were assessing eachother.

Add me to the "so tired" group.

Aaaand CJ just got a call about another rescue mission for tomorrow. Will have to cruise the news to see if I can figure this one out.

Because books.

Aw, Noodle! What a sweetie.

I hit 4:30 and was ready to pass out. And I got a good night's sleep, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, what is your question? Did you want to know whether I made that top comment? Because I totally did.

Of course that was my question! Good one.

Took Devi to the vet this morning to have the Thing in her ear looked at. Luckily, it was the most benign of possibilities: a common type of earwax gland cyst. They don't go away on their own, but as long as it isn't bugging her or blocking the ear canal, no need to do anything (though if they ever do, laser removal !) Poor Devi had her ear stabbed to get at the stuff inside, but as soon as the vet got a sample, she said we didn't even need to send it to the lab. It was a thankfully cheap visit.

She's been pretty clingy all day-she's the only one of my cats traumatized by the vet, and boy howdy, is she! Telecommuted the rest of the day since I was expecting a package....which arrived while I was at the pool. Left it for me, though.

I have to say, the Anthony case was completely off my radar until very recently. That's one fucked up family, regardless of what actually happened.
