You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

bonny, my distrust of this unknown catsitter is the reason I went into the house one time when it wasn't "my turn", just to make sure. The more I think about this, the more angry I get. Partly at myself. I should have gotten the catsitter's contact info (I know she left my info for the catsitter), at the very least. I should know better by now than to trust anyone to be either competent or sensible.

Fuck this. I'm calling the locksmith.

Compassionately intolerant

I have TOTALLY done this. Most of the time, it garnered "I told you so" circumstances. Others, pleasant surprise. Mostly the former, though.

Good luck with the locksmith!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Zen. It's awful that you're in that situation.

This thing you can do now, where you type stuff into the interwebs and then someone brings you a pizza? It's nifty. I'm glad that got developed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Zenkitty, goodness. I wish you well with the locksmith.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We have new cat. Well, we don't HAVE her yet as she is being spayed tomorrow, but she is ours. Black one year old female. Her name is Noodle and she is a snuggler.

CJ is back from his search and rescue mission.

hip deep in pie

Good luck Zen! This is exactly why a reliable catsitter is worth their weight in gold.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I will make a loaf of banana bread Monday and mail it to Colin's roomie Tuesday,

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aw, yay new kitty.

That's sad, Suzi, about the hikers.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Locksmith got me in. I didn't see one cat, but she always hides, and her food bowl (inaccessible to the other one) was not empty, and the water bowl was not empty, so I'm assuming she's all right. The other one, the fat cat who gets a special diet (isn't working), was *ravenous*. I filled up her bowl and I've never seen a cat eat so fast. Poor thing.

I found the neighbor's key ring and swiped the door key. It was that or leave the house unlocked.

Saga concluded!

This is exactly why a reliable catsitter is worth their weight in gold.

Damn straight. She should've hired the girl I recommended.

In non-me news:

I'm sorry for the hikers.

Having new kitty named Noodle is good thing.

I wish someone would stalk me with banana bread.

Ordering a pizza sounds like a really good idea.

edited because I didn't read carefully
