Yay for vacationing Buffistas!

Boo for first world problems.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning. I was supposed to meet my swim buddy at the pool for a 7:30 a.m. swim, so after waking up, I ran downstairs to do my laundry. Well, one of my washers sprang a leak of some sort, because the entryway to the laundry room had turned into a lake when I went down to move things into the dryer. Oh, well, that's for the management office to fix.

Laundry got done, but I was running a few minutes late, so I called my buddy as soon as I got into my car. Turns out she had completely forgotten about the morning swim (we are both off today, which is why this was off schedule for us) and had things to do, so I just swam by myself (nice to have the lane alone), and then concluded my mile with some leg exercises to make up for my lack of kicking.

Came home to organize all of my Goodwill donations; I now have them in three boxes and a bag, all of which I'm going to take down to the car in a bit and drop off by noon. I'll have to make another run tomorrow with the leftover stuff, but then it'll all be cleaned out of here.

I'll also finally do the bathroom tomorrow. This afternoon is my massage and pedicure, and then maybe I'll do some cooking tonight.

I am going to clean like a Kathy tonight and this weekend. My house is yuck.

In prep, I am getting my mind uncluttered today and doing some paper mngmt (bills and receipt entry). It's so nice that the boss is out.

Fluevog is having a sale. That means I get to buy shoes, right?

so I've just paid my remaining med bills from march and my cc bills and my house payment. Yay!

Our poor AC started overheating yesterday. The irony burns, burn, burns. Quasi-literally.

But it's ok right now; I think I'll just turn it off for an hour or so in the hottest part of the afternoon and give it a little break. Good thing we have a window unit in the bedroom; I can retreat there if it gets too disgusting.)

I am out of milk. Black coffee. Bleargh.

Holli, I love the red/pink/coral dots. Unfortunately, dresses almost never fit me - I am extremely long-waisted. (Well, technically I am long all over - mr. flea once called me "an alien from Planet Long" - but the shoulder-to-waist is the part that makes dresses not fit.)

Unlikely heartthrobs. I think some of them don't get what unlikely is about, but most especially the first one. Hello?

Must.Get.House.In.Order. Mucho cleaning today. Luckily we are in pretty good shape, thanks to Cody and I shifting the furniture in the den to a more workable design and the cleaning lady coming by yesterday.
