Cute, Kathy!
I'm eyeballing this one for the Black & Blue Ball in Vegas. I need something cheap, comfortable and sexy in either black or blue.

I like it, Kathy!
And Cashmere, that dress looks to fit the bill just right.
Oh, that's pretty, Cashmere!!
ChiKat had recommended going to the store and looking at the dresses in person before buying. My main problem with the selection was that all but four of the many dresses they had available were polyester and they felt like it. Florida in August does not lend itself to polyester, and I hate the way that it feels, anyway. The dress I got is one of the few that were cotton--the others were either black or almost-all white, both bad options for a wedding.
I have such a first world problem I'm stewing over, it's literally not worth it to go into detail. But just know, first world problem, ok? This is real, people!
Diamond shoes suck, bon!
Kathy - you look great. (It amuses me that the shrug cost more than the dress.)
Diamond shoes suck, bon!
I hear they give terrible blisters when they're too tight!!
But seriously, first world problems can still be annoying, and when you're grumpy, everything else gets to you more too, and it becomes a big ball of suck that is hard to get out of.
Do other pediatricians not do that?
I've never had to pay for forms. Maybe an LA thing? Seems weird.
Just took Emmett in to the Teen Clinic today where he got his Whooping Cough vaccine boosted. They won't take him back at school until that's cleared.
He's actually only 5'8" (and a quarter) so not quite 5'9". He's gained 30 pounds since last year (mostly filling out and muscle) but the doctor thought that was a bit much so they did a blood draw too. Want to check his cholesterol. Basically he needs to eat better, which is not exactly news but he's a tough project there.
We did get some good advice on joint pain as he plays ball again this summer.
Matilda went to the dentist earlier this week, and they said, start budgeting for braces. She's already lost two baby teeth and the adult teeth are coming in crooked. I guess that's early since age 6 is more typical for adult teeth.
Timelies all!
We're heading out after lunch, and hope the holiday traffic isn't too bad.
My weekend plans are coming together. I'm going to go to Target after early release from work today and buy a beach chair (among other things). Then tomorrow, it's supposed to be nice all day, so I can go to the beach in the afternoon! Sunday, regular weekend errands and whatnot. Monday, to RI with the fam for lunch.
