"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is very amusing. Animals being Dicks.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Currently, my mile swim has been hovering around 57 minutes. My kicking is only at 20% of what it should be, at best. I'm hoping that the lessons I'm taking in July will get my head straight re: kicking, so I can start using my legs at 100% what they should be doing. So, right now, my swimming is almost all upper body. My goal by the end of the lessons on July 31st is to do a 50-minute mile.

Today I took an extended lunch break so I could swim without sharing a lane or, as much as I like my friend, have to encourage my swim partner through her mile, thus slowing me down. Even though my kicking was as bad as ever, I still managed to do a 52-minute mile--w00t!!!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

yeah it seems like the people who don't like cilantro are super-smellers!

Well, at least in that article I posted, they're not super smellers. The hatahs can't smell the thing that makes the lovers go "mmmmmm," they only smell the soapy notes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Did I read that article wrong? Good grief.

Art Crawl!!!

Argh.

I cannot find my keys.

They don't appear to be anywhere in the vicinity of the last place I left them (that I recall) nor are they in any of the other places that I thought that they might be (pocket of my jeans, somewhere in one of the two bags I've used this week.)

Must find them!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, I love it when my coworker starts going off about adjacencies. Do other people have these issues in their workplaces? Is it just because we moved 3 years ago?
