We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My first online handle was Ishtar. Then Ashtareth, which I was using when I first registered here. Then I was Zenkitty, and so I stayed. I've also used Juniper in a couple places. I can never find a name/handle that seems to fit. My friends say Zenkitty suits me, so I'll take their word for it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I started on Table Talk as Sophia Brooks, and here I remain. Not my real name, but a real name.

Moi aussi.

In fact, this is my recollection of Salon's rules at the time: Please use your real name but if not, at least use a real name.

I've got a bundle of names on line. They are all variations on Trudy Booth, my Real Name, and my Nom du Porn.

Because of this I've never linked my various places (various IMs, Facebook, LJ, Twitter, etc.) together and now I'm quite glad of it as I see people getting upset when privacy setting changes one place and effs up the others.

I may have once used something else on like, prodigy boards in high school, but otherwise I've always been meara or some variant. Or my real name. Which means it's not much of a secret pseud since anyone who knows me IRL probably would recognize me online, and a lot of online people know my IRL name. Otoh, it's a thin veil of deniability for work and google purposes, I figure.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

If people are totally agreeing online with another person, they should capitalize. ita != totally agreeing. This is all.

Our wings are not tired

Way back in the dark ages (early 80's 300 Baud dial up) I was Greenbeard on a number of BBS systems. Most places now I am NoiseDesign. I also have a few accounts under StageSound but they are not often used. My email was dru@ for a long time as well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think I've pretty consistently been Erin or Erin G on most places.

But I've also used Pharaby in a few places when I wanted NO tracabilty - Pharaby is an old family name, but unusual.

If I ever need a nom de plume, it'll be Erin Bowman -- Bowman was my great-grandma's name.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

My dad's name with an additional s. When that's already taken, it's the same with a triple s. So far that's sufficed. On TT I was BeVERly, because that was a nick for a good long while. My peeps went through an extended period, with resurgences, of talking with the emPHAsis deliberately on the wrong sylLAble.

The status is NOT quo.

Anyone still up? I'm insomnia girl.

Well, insomnia caused by staying up finishing a book. That kind of counts, right?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Not insomnia, pix. I think of it is either bliss or an attack of the stupids (in my case). But in terms of exhaustion factor, it certainly counts.

Today is going to be hectic day -- we have to buy Legoland tickets, then school for Noah, yoga for me, Krav for K, then Noah has to go to the doctor's office and get his eyes and vision rechecked + pick up forms for both him and Grace. Then I have to meet K and Noah in Pasadena and do a kid exchange and go to get Grace's new leg brace. Then K has hockey.

Oh. And we have to make cookies for the 4th Parade, which Noah keeps calling America's Birthday party. This is confusing me because I have a former student named America.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I have to put together a fruit bowl for Sunday's party at my friend's house, so I'll be chopping up strawberries and kiwis this weekend.

I cleaned most of the bedroom last night. All I missed was the closet, which I will get to later this summer. Vacumning, dusting, the pile of stuff in the corner that's been there for at least two years, the bookshelf, and the drawers next to the bed are all purged and organized--yay!

Bathroom is tonight. The litter box is in dire need of complete scrubbing, the shower tile needs to be cleaned, and all of the crap under the sink needs to get purged and organized. Then, the floor will be thoroughly scrubbed because it is disgusting. I am also picking up a new bath mat to replace the current ratty one.
