Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I probably have ten handles in current use. Wait, now that I think about it, dundus is still active. I use it at AO3. Maybe closer to 15 active, really.

I should probably take lunch. I need a break.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Fred. I hope the surgery goes well and you heal quickly.

I chose Calligrafiti as an online handle about 10 years ago and never really felt the need for another. Calli's just a nickname of that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ouch, Fred! I hope the surgery is easy on you and does the trick.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think that all of my online names have been some variation on my actual name. Either my real name, or a nickname, or a version of my name in some other language, and I've used my Hebrew middle name for several things.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My stomach is upset. It has been for, like, three days. It does not like camp food, apparently.

My handles are separated by swathes of plausible deniability. Oceans and oceans of the stuff.

Why am I still at my desk? Good god, y'all.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ack, Fred Pete. Glad you got a diagnosis, and I hope the surgery goes flawlessly and fixes the problems.

smonster is my 1st online handle, first used here (from a RL nickname). Unless you count my email address from college, which evolved into a RL nickname. I use some variation of sarita on music blogs and such.

Our wings are not tired.

Always been either real name or "javachik".

Hope the surgery helps, Fred.

So, you can do this. People, why?

I still haven't left my desk. But at least I got out of my two o'clock meeting. I need juice though. Juicy juice juice.
