Art Crawl!!!

Congratulations, msbelle!

I'm not a big soda drinker (okay - I am one of those who loves that we can get bottled water almost everywhere)- but ginger ale is one of the v. few that I like. Although, I usually don't choose to drink it unless I have an upset tummy.

I also grew up on Canada Dry.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yay, msbelle! I'm glad you're leaving CrazyBoss behind.

Kathy, go you with the mad cleaning! I have to finish up my cleaning this morning, as soon as I have a full cup in me.

I stayed up too late watching Iron Man 2.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good onya, msbelle!

I rank Canada Dry as my favourite, but I haven't tried much boutiquey ginger ale. Vernors is disgusting, and is also not ginger ale. But I'm not a traditional soda drinker--I like fizzy fruit juice, but NSM with the traditional sweetness.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I grew up with Vernors, so it's my one true ginger ale. (Or ginger soda, if you insist.)

I have a long rant about some workplace issues, but I'm gonna sum them up with: If you decide to take over most my job as well as your own, and a year later find that you have too damn much to do, my sympathy will know some definite bounds.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

megan, I woke up this morning telling myself to be sure to let you know I wouldn't make it to game night tonight. I don't think we had a game night scheduled, and I was also sure that today was Thursday the 25th (before I woke up, I was dreaming about dealing with rationing in a war-time economy while I moved into a new rental, so I don't know where any of that came from), but just in case, I am letting you know, can't make it tonight.

Satisfied, subconscious?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I consider Vernor's to be a separate category from regular ginger ale.

And while I hate to dis the hometown product, Sprecher ginger ale is blah as blah can be. It's basically mildly sweet fizzy water without a lot more discernable. Their cream soda is better.

I haven't tried most of the ginger ales on that list. The ones I like best are Reed's and Hansen's. Mmmm, ginger.
