But I know the mood. I had so many things to do tonight, I didn't get around to dinner until after 8. While I'd just rather do a TJ's indian tv dinner, made myself do my usual spinach/strawberry/chicken mango sausage salad. Which was very good, but I resented making it.

I figure I earned points for sending a note to my supervisors commending a coworker's work the past few months.

I packed too much for three days in NY and now I have to cull at the last minute. I am a giant stress bomb who need chocolate ice cream.

sara, that's insane. An email at 3:45 a.m.?

I'm full, but I got some toffee-chocolate ice cream from the store awhile ago, and you guys are making me want some!

But I have to fold laundry. Stupid priorities. And full belly. (Well, I'm full of French fries, so I'ma take my root and stop bitching...)

I also forgot to watch White Collar. Woe.

Yeah, the resentment, I had it. Although mostly during anticipating making my food. The actual cooking is relaxing. I should remember that! I do also kind of resent that Bob is away and getting to meet up for burgers with friends and stay at the luxe hotel and not deal with the cat peeing on the carpet. (Although, really, he misses the cats and staying at the hotel is old hat for him now. etc.)

Market is worlds colliding for me. At first it was people I've shared the lockerroom with (naked people in clothes!) sometimes coworkers and now it is my internet and neighborhoody peoples!

And I feel you on the cat pee. Walked in last night, saw that Devi had an 'issue' with the litterbox and went fuckit and dealt later that night. And I'm petsitting, which is an extra run out the door and litterbox cleaning.

sarameg, if your friend needs help or if I can be of assistance, give her my name and number. I am off until end of July and have time if she needs another body.

Really wanted a burger and beer for dinner but couldn't waste farmer's market produce and shouldn't be indulging like that so made chard/quinoa fritter things and they were good but not satisfying and I'm still hungry and grumpy.

I am in Lisa`s bizarro world where I really wanted to go home and cook up my veggies and spinach from my garden tonight, but a friend was in town and went for burgers and beer instead.

I really shouldn't complain. We leave for awesome vacation a week from tomorrow!

Don`t get me wrong, the burgers and beer were great, and so was the company. I just wanted to cook before things started going off.
