I do not like Ginger Ale, but I have only had Canada Dry and/or supermarket brands. the drink they are describing sounds more like I would like it.

I like Canada Dry quite a lot. Cream soda is just vanilla-flavored, as far as I know.

I love the ginger ale they serve at Big Bowl. Not too sweet, it's definitely an acquired taste, but I think it's great.
President's Choice Ginger Ale is has a nice ginger tang.

It's sweet and a little syrupy and delicious! Every once in a while. I think they are vanilla flavoured, though I don't know if the pink ones are supposed to be other flavoured.
