Spare Cat has achieved mythic proportions.
Peacocks were on my tv. Their calls were FUH-REAKING Loki out. His already huge pupils rendered the irises a mere memory and he was slinking, looking at everything suspiciously. Once the segment ended, he came to me for reassurance and is acting less spooked.
Today, I had brainfog. I hate days like this. But swim was good. One of my fellow regulars asked if she could use me as a pacer on her sets (I usually swim a teeny bit faster than her normally and she's trying to improve her speed.) No problem. Except I forget that when I'm swimming in parallel with someone at or close to my pace, I speed up. Semi-conscious competitive streak. She informed me I about killed her. Oops? But by god, she kept up (and her technique is better.) We were doing 55s or less/50yds when she was pacing through the last third of my swim. And I normally can't sustain that for that long. It's good for both of us!
My rock star kids at this weekend's AthFest [link] (the cig is candy, natch.)
Cake is almost out of the oven, incidentally.
Matilda has been "helping" by which you should understand, getting in between me and the baking and licking all the batter and frosting.
I opted for a cream cheese frosting swirled through with Guittard chocolate.
But it's all their fault--he says, ""I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted. . . . They (Abrahamson and Justice Ann Walsh Bradley) are masters at deliberately goading people into perhaps incautious statements. This is bullying and abuse of very, very long standing."
Does that mean that he just effectively admitted to the press that he did physically assault a State Supreme Court Justice?
who was it who was recommending Archer? Because it is fan-freaking-tastic.

Right?!
I've been pimping it, but first pimpage came from bon bon.
I hurt myself laughing at it today, I think.
It's a good work out for the lower abs.
Also, you'll start talking like Lana pretty soon. Her intonations are very infectious. "Yup!" "Yes I do!"
I watched the last half of the first season a month or so ago, and, admittedly, I wasn't giving it my full attention, but it seemed totally random and turned up to 11 AT ALL TIMES and only funny occasionally.
