I'd rather be the most dressed-up person in the room than the least.
That's generally a good call. When I was meeting with clients, I tried to dress like a professional because they were paying me and I wanted to show respect for that. When I met with the public (as a consultant), I tried not to dress too much better than anyone else in the room because it would make it look like my client was wasting their money. It's a fine line to walk.
Also, now that I wiki'd Carson Daly, I realized that I had no idea he is the same age as I am OR that he was straight.

Oh yeah, it's definitely tricky. My mother has this issue with doing teacher training -- a suit is too much, but she does want to be dressed up to some degree.

Love those pictures, JZ.
Also, when did this "the word marriage means one man and one woman and always has" come about.
Truthiness - from the folks who brought you the "Good Ol' Days."
Hey, not everything about the good old days sucked.
Okay, a lot of it, but not everything. Just because it's old don't mean it's broke, not every time.
Felicitations on the anniversary of your Natal Day, JZ, and many happy returns! Is there cake? Is it on fire?

There's no cake yet because Matilda wants to make it this evening. Which may or may not include incineration.
Ooh, Matilda-made cake, a treat for sure, flaming or not. Her Pride outfit is completely adorable, as is she herself.
Urgh. It's too soon in the day to have reached the end of the internets. I suspect this means industriousness in my immediate future.
