Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Does mashed cauliflower taste as yucky as regular cauliflower? I have taste issues with that veggie, unlike broccoli, which I don't mind the taste of, but can't stand the texture of the seedy treetops (I like the stalks).

I'm not sure how useful my answer is, because I like cauliflower, but when I tried a mixture of about half potatoes and half cauliflower, the potatoes were the much stronger flavor, and I could just taste the cauliflower a little. (I used frozen cauliflower.)

If it's been an hour since DH told me he got an urgent call from daycare that Dylan smashed his finger in the bathroom door and needed to be picked up, and I haven't heard anything since, is it safe to assume they are NOT in the ER waiting on stitches or a broken bone?

HUSBAND, CALL ME.

Because books.

Aw, poor Dylan. How long would it take him to get home from there, Jess? Maybe he'll just call you when they're home?

Finally got a call - thumb is still bleeding, so I'm meeting them at the ER.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There was a lot of cauliflower in the food I ate in India. I've never been a huge fan, but never hated it either, but man cooked in stuff it was way nom nom nom!

Mushed up cauliflower is really good in creamy soups. Stealth veggies!

Because books.

A friend of mine did mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes one night, and with butter and some parmesan, it was delicious.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor, Dylan! I hope his finger heals quickly.

I love roasted cauliflower. Yum!
