Natter 67: Overriding Vetoes
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I don't like white undies; I think they get grotty looking too quickly, and it grosses me out.
exactly, which is why I switched to black. If you bleach them all the time, they fall apart and you have to buy new ones anyway.
ita, I like the green ones in the first link.
I like the first set of earrings, especially the red.
I'm positive we've discussed this before in some context, but the moist panties thing isn't uncommon: [link]
I see their point about the increased sexualisation of kiddie stuff, but what does "more provocative stances, and more responsive positions" mean when referring to a plastic horse?
That the writer has a dirty mind.
It could just as easily be "more active stances, more engaging positions" or "more animated stances, more enticing positions" - but the writer goes with options most readly applied to fucking.
Suzi, I think the ability to discuss your problems with your kids is part of how they learn to be grown ups. No, Not everything. but some stuff
I just ordered ten pairs of panties and was able to toss out a bunch of my older pairs so that I've got about 14 pair left, and my sister is wondering why I have that many. I'll have to tell her about msbelle's 80 pair!
Oh, and as for Sondheim soprano songs, my favorite is "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" from Sweeney Todd. On the Carnegie Hall tribute concert album from 1992, Harolyn Blackwell sings this so well that her final note is worth the cost of the album.
I definitely have upwards of 30 pair, but many of those are ones I never wear but can't bear to throw out in case there's soem kind of laundry disaster.
Grrr. I'm starting to get tired of the liquids/pudding only stage of this post-surgery diet. I want something to crunch, damnit! But won't be allowed that until the end of the month. It's going to be a long one. At least I can have pureed food starting on Monday! I'm making that chili I have in the cabinet, and then as soon as I can handle it, I'll be mixing up some egg salad.
My dad had brought Panera tomato soup on Sunday, and I ate it without straining out the tomato and rice bits--big mistake. My stomach just ached for hours afterwards. When I had it again for dinner after straining, I had no problems at all. I'll be having that again tomorrow (Dad's taking me to the doctor's for my first checkup, and we'll be stopping by Panera on the way home), so I've already got the strainer out.
