Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I fucking broke tumblr again.

Do you really hate hipsters so much? You have to break their toys? Twice?

I watched Bronson the other night. I was taking a rather lot of Sudafed for this cold.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You are why we can`t have nice things! We needs the tumblr, we does, for it has the pretty! And also the happy news!

Why is my phone keyboarg suddenly giving me different tactile feedback? Don`t make me look at a keyboard, phone.

eta: Key board! Board, not boarg. The g is two whole keys away from the f. Wait a minute. boarg boarg. Is it trying to tell me something! Assimilation! Run for it!

eata: Hm. I possibly worked too late on writing scary letters to people and have now completely lost it. Possibly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ION, the webfilter at work figured out how to block Gmail. And Dreamwidth. (They've blocked B.org all along.) Argh. Nutty tells me I need a smartphone. Bah.

I got a new phone because i am going full time and some things should not be done on the work computer. It doesn't mean I won't, but....

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does that area have underground gas lines? Some 15-20 years ago there was an explosion on a construction site not far from where I grew up. In the months after, 2 or 3 homes in south KC blew up from slow gas leaks that were caused by the initial explosion.

Now authorities face the risky task of getting rid of the explosives. The property is so dangerous and volatile that that they have no choice but to burn the home to the ground this week in a highly controlled operation involving dozens of firefighters, scientists and hazardous material and pollution experts.

That sounds very scary...and very like the fire fighters and scientists and going "OOOH! LETS BLOW IT UP!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

msbelle, it was 2003, maybe? I'm not sure. Maybe 2002?

Edit: HA! I found pictures, and it was 2003.

I'm getting the pig!

Yesterday I ordered three things from amazon - two of the items I wanted right away (boots and a scarf) and the third was just something I'd been meaning to get for a while (electric toothbrush covers).

So - this morning I wake up to an email saying that the unimportant item has been delayed and won't ship until today so they're going to refund the one day shipping fees for all three items. !!!

Pretty effin' awesome. I hope the rest of the day is this nice.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
