aurelia, for veggies - you can add a cup or so of raw spinach to your carnation breakfast. 30 seconds in the blender and you're good to go. I have a vanilla shake that I drink on the weekends and although it turns the shake green, I can't even taste the spinach.
I asked him why she didn't sign for the package, and he said that the lights were out and the door was locked.
Wow. Massive FAIL! Kids these days.
I'm finally feeling mostly better after almost three weeks of being sick. And the hole in my mouth from a root extraction last week is healing nicely. I swear, the last couple months of the year always try to kick my ass, so I've come to expect this nonsense.
In good news, though, I'm now out of the boring domestic beer business and learning the export side as the Puerto Rico analyst. New stuff! Yay!
So I have this old friend who I used to tease about her over-the-top xmas decorating. Then she got married and moved away. And now she's chiding her husband that once she can read by the light of the outdoor displays, it is enough. I find this hilarious. He'd do well on 34th street. I am simultaneously disappointed and relieved that I will not be in Baltimore for Christmas.
Baltimore is special. I love it (clearly.) It's so interesting and unselfconscious and broken and proud and homey and friendly and complicated. And it is beautiful.
