Man, I wish it were in the 20s.

It is now a balmy 6 degrees - windchills of -10.

Hey, anyone interested in a 1000 km, 10 day race across Mongolia?

It's the Mongol Derby!

Because books.

With the wind chill it feels like 23 here. I'm so not ready for winter.

You know what's hard? Remembering your passwords after 3 wks of vacation.

Welcome back. I think it shows that your brain relaxed.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's the Mongol Derby!

Do you have to carry your own yurt?

All that snow everyone else was having? We're getting it as rain...with gale force winds. Yuck.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's the Mongol Derby!

I know someone who did the Mongol Rally, which is in cars, from... France? I dunno, some long distance.

I might give in and start using the heaters, since it was 65 in my apartment this morning. But there is just so little time that I'm home and awake, in general! We'll see how long I can hold out.

Art Crawl!!!

You ride native Mongol horses. 14 hours on horseback a day - at the end of that I don't think you give a damn where you sleep. Unless there is a hot spring or sauna available.
