Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Also? lisah made me CRY with her vows.

Awwwww. I need to hear these.

Food: awesome green beans and other veggies, crackers, chips (I really liked the fresh green bean, burp) and dips (basil and garlic, and a feta spinach) and empanadas for apps. Dinner was a lovely turkey and a caribbean salad thing and a fat couscous with raisins, green beans in a mapley thing, a nummy stuffing, mashed taters, brussel sprouts I actually LOVED and...I'm forgetting something. But all excellent. Should've grabbed a card for anyone wanting catering. And I had the carrot cake layer of the chocolate mint, carrot cake and coconut cake cake. And lotsa booze. The kids were having a blast, too. Pretty much staked out the cake with knives and forks, it was hilarious.

Did I mention Bob and lisah were freaking glowy happy and everyone was so lovey and wonderful?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray, hooray!

I'll leave it to lisah to sum up their vows, as I'd screw it up. Needless to say, it's been a challenging year and that was a huge chunk of heart right there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amazing.

Aw, yeah. I'm so happy for them, and for a celebration well enjoyed with good friends.

Man, cow twins one night, wedding stories the next. Now I'm glowy.
