I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, I forgot there were fireworks tonight. That was startling.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I go through flour like nobody's business, so I don't bother to freeze, generally. I do keep an eye on them, though, and I have dark cool storage.

Because books.

Okay, I guess I'll stop drawing the boobies and draw feet instead.

I dislike this plan.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Back from singing outside, and there wasn't even a Christmas tree! I didn't freeze to death, though, so I guess it's a win.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hec wants feet. So, you know, feet.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY for not freezing, Dana!

I dislike this plan.

Me too! Hec is WRONG, and should not be listened to.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

In the process of finding room in my refrigerator for flour, polenta, and bulgur, I kind of... took everything out and cleaned almost the entire refrigerator. And did a quick purge of stuff from the refrigerator and cupboard.

I may already be avoiding Yuletide.

I really need to do that. I think I am going to next weekend, using my sister's visit as the incentive.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I need to too. I started rearranging the freezer, under the guise of needing to inventory to save some cash. But then there I was, with the freezer door warning beeping at me, with frozen goose all over the counter. And I was all, I did not intend to do this. So I put everything back in, but I need to deliberately do it soonish.

Because books.

Moving is awesome for cabinet and firdge cleaning. There's almost nothing in this kitchen that makes me wonder where or when I got it, except for a few spices S. packed when I wasn't looking. And they're probably fine, despite the sad look of their bottles/tins.
