Is an ortanique a citrus fruit?
It is an orange/tangerine UNIQUE blend. Yeah, Jamaicans are real clever. You should also taste Ugli fruit. No, seriously.
You know, it really is kind of hard to look knowledgeable and like people should listen to you if you are holding a half eaten tootsie pop in one hand as you talk to them.
I aspire to be knowledgeable-seeming despite candy-consuming. It's one of my life goals. No report on how successful I've been to date, but I don't like Tootsie Pops. Or, well, most candy. It's complicated.
Still, msbelle should be envious of me. I did mention the pink gingham socks, didn't I? Did I mention the cowboy boots? The biker jacket? The meeting with my boss that didn't kill me? But might later?
Do they MAKE socks in gingham? Or are they knit socks in a gingham-y pattern? (To me, gingham is a woven fabric.)
I am so sorry for the people who find all vegetables bitter. People are sure different. (Tomatoes? Bitter?? Not in my mouth!)

So...this weekend: market, pedicure, shop, swim, get fancy, wedding. Then swim, merry market at the Creative Alliance, maybe get to the Xmas parade, swim oh and I need to clean my house somewhere in there. I'm afraid that might be the thing that gives, which is unfortunate because it needs it.

They may not be as bitter as I think. The blast of acid scouring my tongue overwhelms everything. I like tomato sauce. Stewed tomatoes are of the devil.

I think the only time I get enough fruit is when I buy a bag of clementines, or occasionally in the summer when I buy a pound of cherries. Vegetables, forget it.

Well, I am off work for a week and about to head to the Thai place below my apartment for dinner. I'd originally planned to cook steak and potatoes in honor of the Winchesters, but I'm jonesing for tom yum soup and dynamite shrimp.
