I once had a professor who wanted me to figure out what toy store in London had a toy he'd seen for his kid while wandering around. He couldn't remember exactly where it was, but he thought it was on (some street he named). Oi.

Last night I was watching L&O:UK On Demand and playing online when suddenly the tv and the computer both went out. No Comcast. (I didn't check to see if my phone was still working. . . I assume that it was out too.)
Thank goodness it's back this morning. (Didn't have time to check if internet is working at home.) New Supernatural tonight and I must have my cable tv!
Comcast goes out on me all the time, both internet and TV. It's a big problem.
I haven't had much problem with Comcast, for which I am grateful.

This doesn't seem right to me, but being neither Jewish nor a Wookie, I can't say for sure....
This morning, I am going to Stanford to look at computer and telecommunications dictionaries from the 1990s to see if one of them has a definition that matches one that is in a current wikipedia entry.
The definition for what, Perkins?
Three fairly common phrases. I have lots of definitions for all of them, but they aren't using the buzz words the partner wants (the ones from the 2010 wikipedia entry).
It's more than a little bit of a wild goose chase.
Did I mention Stanford's study period before finals starts today?
That sounds really interesting, though, Perkins! Academic wild goose chases are some of the best, I think.
