I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Speaking of cat-sitting, we've arranged for a local pet business to come in and feed that cats. In the meantime, Taz's bladder crystals have reared their ugly head and now we're nervous about leaving him for 4 days. The vet said we could board him at their office, but I really do not want to do that to him.

It's not weird to think that the pet place would have some medical abilities? Like, I could pay a little extra for him/her to hang out beyond the feeding time just to see if Taz goes into the litterbox several times an hour?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think I would need to jailbreak the G2 for TMobile.

No, I'm on TMO.

One thing I love about the phone is Swype typing. So awesome. I got it because I didn't want to be without the keyboard option, but with Swype I pretty much never use it. Still, it's there. And it's a QWERTY.

ETA: Swype, you just drag your finger across the touchscreen keyboard for the word you want - you don't hit the keys individually. It takes a little getting used to but once you do it's super fast and very accurate.

Nora, whenever I leave the cats, I contact my vet and let them know that if some stranger (named or not) needs to bring in Mister Kitty for whatever reason, I'm good for the bill and they are ok with that. Or any other of my cats, but MK is the one most likely. I show the sitters where the carriers are and offer to reimburse for the time and trauma.

In my case, I know someone will be over every 12 hours (or more often, E's daughter loves MK and Loki's friendliness, so they do a lot of visits) and that's sufficient.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aha. I see the G2 on the site now. Which is ridiculously incompatible with my phone, but never mind. What version of Android are you running?

I am so envious of you. I feel like there should be a lemon law. I bought this stupid Cliq outright, and it has been nothing but trouble. Hardware issue after issue. Sigh.

Yay Kathy!

Re the dieting thing, I think I'm where Calli is in many ways--I could diet and exercise like crazy, or I could not take so much time to worry about my food and be lazy, and just be ok with the extra weight. Now granted, lately I've gotten in some very bad habits and am eating way too much and not exercisIng at all, which is not what I mean--I weigh more than I'd like now. But even when I was more in shape and felt awesome I wasn't really dieting, just working out (and weighing 20 pounds less than now...but still 20 pounds more than "perfect")

Yeah, Time Warner. How wide is wide? I need company for my misery.

She's in Joshua Tree. Wide.

She said something about "California" but I don't know how far across the state, whether it's North as well as South.

Damn, evolution is amazing.

ION, even little tiny T-Rex legs make skinks fall in "super-cute" instead of "run, flee, OMG, PANIC!" like snakes (and lying-to-themselves-and-Science legless lizards) do.
