Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, Bumble can bounce....

Is this pre-dental surgery Bumble or post-dental surgery Bumble?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Dunno, but did you know that duct tape isn't very good for HVAC ducts? . . . (Heat makes the tape dry out.)

That plus the duct tape eating monsters.

I was looking for the duct tape to stabilize a slightly battered box for shipping. Guess I'll be hitting the post office Saturday morning instead of at lunch today.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The headache will not stop. It will not respond to any sort of OTC medication. I think it is time to rip my brain out.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Allyson, I am so sorry! I think it's time to go to the doc. I use ice packs alternating with heat when I get an intractable headache. It doesn't work for long, but it does give some relief.

I think it is time to rip my brain out.

That would stop the pain, but we'd all miss your brain.

Taking Scrappy advice sounds like the way to go.

Allyson I am so sorry. If it helps any, your brain ripping desire has made me think of a story where a zombie eats it's own brain.

Compassionately intolerant

I played peacemaker and woke mac up with hugs and kisses. stupidhead having to be the grown-up thing.

msbelle, God bless you. I don't know how you do it.

I have a 7 year old client with adhd and a really, really angry mom. I've come to a place where I fear I can't actually help them.

The mom has every right to every feeling she has, but it is eating both of them alive. Something has got to change...or a choice needs to be made for no change. Every time we get close to a breakthrough, the mom retreats into, "You can't understand. You don't have kids." It's so sad. It's true that I don't have kids, but I sure as hell know about frustration and ways to deal with it.

I also know how unrelentingly wearing it is. Whenever I read about msbelle's strength and determination, it just chokes me up.

Bless, bless, bless.
