I wanna try sara's cookie entry!

The Five Stages of Grading for those among us who grade... hilarious!

I had a cocktail party at school today. In my 3rd period class. SO much fun.

information libertarian

I have a confession. I don't really like the Haagen Dasz Five lemon ice cream. And I usually love lemon things! Something about the ratio of buttercream to tartness is all wrong for me.

I took Loki out in the rain because he insisted.

He currently thinks his wet feet are the devil and is trying to run away from them.

That party looked like so much fun. And compliments to the photographer, a lot of those shots were nicely done.

I have high hopes for these cookies, even though they involve hand kneading the dough (which admittedly is kinda fun, if messy.)

ita, has this been ruled out for you? This is from Dave White's lj and when I read it I was like, oh god, that sounds nightmarishly familiar.

I have a friend named Travis with a medical condition called "pseudotumor cerebri," which basically means his cerebrospinal fluid pressure is too high.

I've never heard of this happening to anyone before, so I assume it's rare. And the result, according to him, is the feeling like someone is using a jackhammer on his head 24 hours a day. It means he's had a brutal migraine since February, non-stop, had to miss tons of work and he went on a drastically reduced schedule with a concurrent cut in pay. Then he had to stop working entirely. Which equals poverty.

There are no drugs yet for this condition, at least not ones that have worked on him, only barely effective pain management.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Will's a friend, so I will post what feels comfortably like public conversation. There are some personal things going on which I of course, can't share online without invading his privacy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, of course, Scrappy. We wouldn't want you to violate confidences in any way. I was just speculating on how interesting it would be to know what was going on in his head. But we definitely don't want to impinge on your friendship with a private person. We're mostly reacting to his statements in public fora.

Now tagless for your comfort.

And I usually love lemon things! Something about the ratio of buttercream to tartness is all wrong for me.

The lemon zest in it is my only complaint--but yeah, much tarter than the lemon ice cream of my youth.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Christ, Strega. That sounds worse than what I have. But I'll mention it to my doctor when I see him tomorrow.

WHY IS IT ONLY 6:30? I WANT TO TRY SLEEPING AGAIN.

I want ita to sleep.
