RaceFaile is a pretty long story, and it involves Will Shetterly being shitty to more than one Buffista, if memory serves, and there's no way I can do it justice. It's about racial insensitivity in Sci Fi, basically, and writers showing their dirty underwear on their blogs.
But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

Glad to hear Kathy's doing well.
Am attempting to eat for the second time today. First time nearly failed, and resulted in some white knuckle driving while I looked for a place to pull over to barf (luckily didn't happen.) Haven't been hungry all day, just headachy and tired. Slept 7:30-11:30 and 4-5:30, then swam (only time I didn't feel sick.) Still haven't found a less blingy thing for my dress.
Today was honestly the worst I've felt this whole time. Mostly could ignore it before. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow. If not, I'm taking another day off, because in addition to feeling like I'd lost a round with a truck, I was just stupid.
But I have fresh spinach! And empanadas! And apples! Yay neighbors!
