The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too.

Also, Ack. My cleaning person just emailed me to ask if she could come tomorrow instead of Wednesday this week. This wouldn't be as much of a problem, or a problem at all, really, except for the part where I spent the last 5 days not doing dishes, or putting away laundry, or moving much beyond my sofa and recliner.

At least it's a contained mess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Noah has this dimple high on his right cheek, and when he's emotional it's all dimply and...it's just too much.

Because books.

I'm going to calmly state my HORRIBLE JEALOUSY of people who had Noah and Grace time at Thanksgiving. Hmph.

Amy, next year, YOU could come and have Noah and Grace time.

Grace's cold is somewhat better, but not cleared yet. She's feeling better ish.

And all of my shit of feeling like a slovenly mom who let her toddler getaway with eating sticky toffee bread pudding and not brush his teeth immediately after and that's why he has 3 cavities? According to today's dentist not so much.

He has enamel hypoplasia that resulted from his extreme prematurity! So it's the fault of my shittiness-at-being-successfully-pregnant instead of my shitty-at-brushing-ness!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

HORRIBLE AWFUL JEALOUSY. And yup, sara, meltyface means toddler likeage for sures.

I cannot do any swimming under water ever, and my pool is now closed through the New Year. Pouty. I need to figure out what cardio I`m going to do through the rest of holiday season. I think I maintained weight through my multiple turkey days, but will have to confirm once I get to my own scale.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Spanish woman claims she owns the sun - and now plans to start charging ALL users:

What if they (we) don't pay? Is she going to block it out, like Mr. Burns?

This wouldn't be as much of a problem, or a problem at all, really, except for the part where I spent the last 5 days not doing dishes, or putting away laundry, or moving much beyond my sofa and recliner.

But...that's what she comes to take care of!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How does Grace's cold manifest with her breathing apparatus? I guess she doesn't have the misery of suddenly not being able to breathe through her nose, but still, it must be specifically unpleasant. Because that's what colds are for.

Amy, did I mention NOAH ADDRESSED ME BY NAME? What? Only once or twice? Well, HE DID.

God, I have no sense of proportion.

ita, she blows a profound amount of gooey snot out of her trach. If we leave the HME on, it'll get clogged which makes it hard to breath. She also has a separately runny nose.

We use Grace's suction machine on Noah's nose when he's sick. In fact, I'll use saline and suction his nose. He also would like us to still use a bulb syringe but I think the suction machine is far superior. He especially prefers when he gets to be "Boss of the sucker."

Grace, on the other hand, has a dial-up-to-11 freakout over her nose getting suctioned. She was so pissed and distraught that her pulse spiked up to over 180 bpm.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

AWFUL WRACKING JEALOUSY! Noah cutiecakes.

Also hello Gudanov and Erin and quester! I am in KC. Not stranded, though, just stopped for a half hour or so. On our way here I slept through this stop but it was really pretty coming in tonight.
