Natter 67: Overriding Vetoes
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Huh, I have a 323 for you. what's that?
Good thoughts for Kathy!
lisa's vows: Chicago Bob, the way I feel about you can best be expressed by the lyrics of the Whitesnake song "Is this Love". In the immortal words of the great David Coverdale:
I can't stop the feeling I've been this way before
But, with you I've found the key To open any door
I can feel my love for you Growing stronger day by day
Is this love that I'm feeling? Is this the love that I've been searching for? Is this love or am I dreaming?
This must be love Cos it's really go a hold on me. A hold on me.
(dramatic pause)
WHITESNAKE!
I can't remember the exact title they use in the sequence, but it was road kill patrol.
Easy Peasey surgery-ma for Kathy.
Tonight, I've got an after school meeting laying out the school selection process. Tomorrow we have our parent-teacher conference for Matilda. Wednesday I've got my hearing to protest the car being towed. And this weekend Emmett's rescheduled Baseball tryouts happen on Sunday.
I guess we're getting the tree on Saturday then.
I always get the tree the first weekend I have Emmett in December.
Anybody else tree shopping this weekend?
I like the Whitesnake suggestion, though it does require lisah to swish her hair around like Tawny Kitaen.
msbelle, that is truly beautiful.
msbelle is so helpful!
lisah, how about this?
"Chicago Bob, you're pretty groovy. Let's get hitched?"
though it does require lisah to swish her hair around like Tawny Kitaen.
Not a problem AT ALL.
There will actually be a bit of 60s country music star glamor going on with my hair if all goes as planned.
"Chicago Bob, you're pretty groovy. Let's get hitched?"
Also quite a good suggestion! I also like the simplicity of what I was told were the traditional Hell's Angels vows "Will you be my old man?"

You CANNOT sing "I Will Always Love You", though.
