Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm making banana bread, and not dealing with paper.

Yikes -- there was a scandal here where the recently re-elected Sheriff was going to collect a pension and his salary at the same time, but after it came out, he resigned instead of just not taking the pension. He just killed himself.

yikes is right.

I just called the caregiver on my prison family ministries angel tree thing, we are supposed to check if there are other kids in the household. I specifically chose a family with 1 child, well there are three more at home, just not the children of the father that is in prison and signed up for the program. goodness, not sure how I can cover that. will discuss with my sunday school class tomorrow, maybe they can help.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Yikes, indeed.

Miss Kitty is pissed that there is no room for her near me. I pulled my printer out into the living room and it is on the couch next to me. Scanned pictures are on one side of me, unscanned pictures are on the other side. I'm a scanning fool.

I'm FINALLY trying to get all the pictures scanned so I can do a memorial photo book of my mom to give the kids. 44 pictures down, another 10 or so to go. Then I need to plot our the book and see if I need more.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, we usually do an angel tree thing, but haven't yet this year. Lemme talk to Dave.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That is such fantastic news, Erin. Millions of congratulations, and those kids are going to LOVE you. You're ridiculously good at this, and it sounds like an amazing school and an amazing environment.

Allyson, I'm so sorry about Oliver, and glad that today is a little better. Everyone else already said so many wise things (especially Liese); you were a pure utter good in Oliver's life, giving him shelter, warmth, food and comfort after his wanderings and making sure he died in no pain and surrounded by love. The donation in his name is lovely, and I'm so glad you got some good kitten love and play today.

Punishingly Intricate

ha random small world moment: we are putting together a dvd of pics to show at our wedding. I'm trying to get as many pictures of people who will be there as I can so I did a flickr search for my friend Tippy and one of the photographers was Spidra. Spidra, you know my friend Tippy?
