Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats, Sophia! Ain't it a good feeling?

Erin, interview~ma! You'll astound them with your amazingness!

Connie, I appreciate that you didn't go to jail for setting fire to that painting.

Allyson, I'm so sorry. You made Oliver's last days happy and safe and warm, and you saved him from a miserable lonely death. You did good. I'm sorry he couldn't stay.

The status is NOT quo.

Sophia, how wonderful! I had a brief credit card debt free moment back in 2006 but got back in over my head in the years since. ND and I have been working on a plan all year, though, and we are slowly making progress. I paid of the last of his credit cards this month (his interest rates were much higher than mine) and am now starting on mine. I will do a dance of joy the day I can say the same.

On the grading front just 18 or so papers to go, and I managed to grade 9 yesterday. If I can keep up that pace, I can finish the whole batch.

Go you! I am so jealous--I can't even tell you how much grading I brought home and how little I've done. I also have 11 more recommendations to write before the end of the month. Sigh.

Erin, totally

Hm. Odd posting issue. Erin, I'm thinking really positive thoughts for your interview!

Perhaps a funny link will redeem me for killing the board. This is what ND and my niece wants for Christmas: [link]

She's a barrel racer, but...really? Oh dear.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

...

...

...

the fact that it comes from a place called "Rods.com" doesn't really help, does it?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Just as an FYI - PG and E finished fixing the leak about 4am and no one was blown up

I'm not sure when we will be CC debt free. I actually have a 10 year paln to make our lives more flexible , but I hope it doesn't take that long to get cc debt free

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Phew, beth! Hopefully PGE is more on the case since they were found to be at fault in the San Bruno explosion.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

WHERE did you get that, Cashmere?
