Joyce: And what did you do tonight? Dawn: Irritated Giles. I'm beginning to get why Buffy likes it so much.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm sorry, Allyson; that's hard. But I think you did the right thing.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm so sorry, Allyson. You gave him the happiest, warmest time he could've had for his last few days.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, Allyson. I am so sorry.

I am glad he found you though, so that his last day or so were happy, as hard as it is on you.

Oh no, allyson!! That's so sad. But very awesome of you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, Allyson. You did the best you could for him, and that's better than he would have gotten out in the cold.

Allyson, you did the right and compassionate thing. As far as Oliver was concerned, he had the best days ever these past few.

Because books.

Aw, Allyson, I'm so sorry. You did the best thing for him, and you gave him a lot of love.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That Scooby Doo is great. Love, love.

I drove past Fry's on the way home. Parking lot was backed up into the street. No Black Friday shopping for me. Still never done it. I don't think the tradeoff for my fragile mental health against the discounts is worth it for anything I have to buy right now.

eta: Oh, Allyson, that's awful. It's good you could be there to help him.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thank you guys. I'm wobbly.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Allyson. The pain you are feeling now will someday be worth it in exchange for the great comfort and care you gave Oliver, but I know right now it's just pain.
