The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We should.

It would require getting dressed though, so that's a draw back.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

True. Though if it were Walmart, it really wouldn't require getting dressed (we'd blend int the People of Walmart).

My issue is that it's chilly outside and I do not want outside.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is also a point. Though I am still wishing I hadn't been so diligent about turning the heat off last night, because it is chilly inside too.

Okay, insane or not, I'm getting dressed and going, just to get myself out of the house, and with the promise of pumpkin pancakes at Mimi's after I am done at Target.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Health~ma for Khusband!

Happy Birthday, DJ!

Hubs and I had a quiet Thanksgiving, just the two of us. Hubs is a VERY good cook when he decides that he has the time, and Thanksgiving is the one day he decides that he has the time. Nothing unusual except the two batches of sangria (most of which is in the refrigerator for drinking later), just the standard dishes very well done. Well, there weren't any rolls, but I didn't miss them.

And the cats loved their share of the Thanksgiving turkey, except they thought we got too much.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wahh. I have to work today. Only half day, and the boss isn't in, but still, weep for my pain.

Also, the sweater I wanted to wear today isn't clean, and my outfit it RUINDED. Totally.

Happy birthday, DJ! And a Pat Cashy recovery to the Khusband. He's my appendectomy hero. While I was lounging around not being able to walk a block after mine, he kinda kicked ass at Wimbledon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, DJ!

Quick recovery ~ma for the Khusband

Kat, I don't know what could have possibly set your friend off. Your status report was loving and genuine. Maybe he mixed up Thanksgiving with Veteran's Day?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've been both to the Apple Store, Best Buy, Borders, AND Target, and bought NOTHING. I probably deserve some kind of medal. I did play with a Sony e-Reader which impressed.

Target has the 8gb iPod Touch for sale with a $30 gift card bonus, but the 32gb version -- more expensive -- doesn't have that. I put it back when I found that out. I may dig out my Amazon gift checks and buy one online instead.
