I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Always Anti-fascist!

Aw, heck, Hec. I hope when I die, there is someone to speak of me so fondly. Also, 48 is too young.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm very sorry for your loss David. Also, fuck cancer.

Also hoping the world backs off Brenda (and any other Buffista who feels put upon).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, brenda! That is more than enough.

November seems to attract tragedies. Both of my inlaws died in November, then all this happening here. I wonder if it's a combination of the beginning of serious winter and the onset of holidays providing too many sources of stress on people playing a balancing act with their lives. I know the dark and the snow make me take a very deep mental breath before girding the existential loins.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm developing a very strong distrust of November.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am generally not a fan of November and December, and my experience have validated that.

Having said that, it's a lot easier to deal with holiday bullshit when the weather is warm and sunny. Also, I haven't had much bullshit to deal with directly, so there's that. Yet.

I think my skirt is old enough to vote. And no, it's not vintage. It's just...not been thrown away. But I like it a lot.

Coffee house demerit points to the Coffee Bean guy for automatically slicing and toasting my bagel. Cold toast. Yahey. Also demerit points for calling me by my first name. No, this cannot be offset by complimenting me. It doesn't work that way.

God, the building smells like chemical crap. And my "ripe mango" tea is so very ripe.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

November seems to attract tragedies.

My mom died in November. It's never been a good month for me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm so sorry, David.
