I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dude, he shouldn't look at you like a kicked puppy when YOU are the one in pain.

I do think there is a disconnect. I get the impression that vocal Palin supporters think that detractors dislike her for personal reasons. While many of most detractors are more concerned about basic competence "Really? You want this person to run things?"

I like her shoes... I mean, I think she's a pathological liar and not especially intelligent (canny, but not brainy), and I would hate to see her in charge of the place, but I do like her taste in footwear.

I've been playing with Pinterest the last couple of days. It's a social media pin-board site. I love it for the visual inspiration, and it lets you repin things from others really easily.

ETA:I seem to have 5 invites if anyone wants one.

I almost forgot about open enrollment here at work, which has to be filed by the end of the day Friday, but I just took care of it. They're offering a pretty decent non-tobacco-user credit for the first time ($300/year) which I had to make sure I signed up for.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dude, he shouldn't look at you like a kicked puppy when YOU are the one in pain.

Seriously.

I would have shot my computer many, many times. And that would not be helpful for my work productivity!

Ha ha ha! Sadly, if I were to shoot my computer here, I would probably also shoot my favorite coworker, since she's right on the other side of the wall. So, note to self: Don't shoot M.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My boss is very much a feeler. Very much.

Note to self: Pinterest doesn't seem to be a Chris/Zachary shipper board.

Because books.

Nerf balls, babe! That's what you need.

re: don't shoot computers

I wonder if sidearms are still banned from military computer centers.

I have until the 24th for open enrollment. Today's email said 22% of us had signed up so far. Oh, at least I'm not alone.

Home, trying to let the meds kick in. Will need to be on con call at 2. Hurry up, meds. Hurry up.

Couldn't find a desk purifier, so I have a floor standing one. Hopefully that's better rather than worse.

Knocking back some San Pellegrino. My fruit soda jones (no pun intended) is getting out of control.

I'm taking a PTO day tomorrow, so I had to enroll today, otherwise I probably would have forgotten to take care of it on Friday.

Going shopping at IKEA tomorrow morning, and since I want to avoid spending anything more than I absolutely have to, I'm going to see if I can head directly for the warehouse area to pick up what I want, buy it, and get out. If I have to go into the store at all, I'm going to be in trouble!
