Thank you, Vortex. You mentioned cooking cabbage in apple cider vinegar and I did that tonight and it came out tasting like something an Austrian would eat in November.

Half a cabbage cut up.
Half an apple cut into chunks.
Sauteed in butter and olive oil with garlic.
Added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
Add honey. Add Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

Yum!

Now I'm having a hot toddy of lemon, honey, bits of crystalized ginger and brandy.

Also, I met Brenda's Standard and built the meal around the vegetable first.

My dessert of the rest of the apple, some banana and fancy plain yogurt with raspberry sauce would've been about eight times better if I had not cut up the apple on the same board that I had cut up the garlic.

Cash - I have, but I didn't care for it much, mostly because it was too thick a line. I have issues.

Mr Peabody had almost zero interest in dry food until I brought home a sample of Chef Michael's. I wonder if Chef Michael's needs a spokesdog? Since he has limited interest in food at all, I feel compelled to indulge him. At least the ingredients start with meat.

The liquid pencil was disappointing. I still use mine because I am stubborn like that. But it takes too much pressure to write, and it gives an inconsistent line. It`s like a ballpoint pen, it clumps and is uneven. It would have been better if they`d chosen different pen mechanics. Nor does it change to permanent after the amount of time advertised.
 
Your experience may vary. You can ask sumi, she bought a bunh. You can try for yourself, but after the amount of excited I was about it, I ended up sorely disappointed.

So a co-worker of mine is married to a Jamaican woman with a very odd name that's the same name as a girl I went to high school with. He assures me I didn't go to high school with her because she was born in '68. Except that's precisely the year I went to high school with, having been born in '69 and been a year ahead. So now I've come out wrt my age to my co-workers, which was weird and not weird at the same time.

I didn't tell him what high school I went to, but I asked him to ask her where she went. He wasn't sure about her maiden name (!!!) but I wasn't sure about N's last name anyway. It's just too weird, whether it's her or there are two of them.
