Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yes, Lakeview, though I can usually get access to a car.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Why is it only Tuesday? This week is dragging...

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I work in Mid City right at the end of Canal Street (5 minutes from Lakeview) so I can also be available to chauffeur quite easily. Whatever! We'll work it out.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well, this morning's impasse is broken. We compromised. She does not get the stinky chow with all the shapes and colors and shit. But, in the interest of not starving herself (and getting wiggier by the hour) she is now chomping happily on frou-frou health food store chow.

Since I have 20 lbs of the old stuff I will not call this the end off the story. But the new stuff is not that much more expensive, and it has the advantage of convenience since I go by that store all the time.

This is my life. ::headdesk::

brenda can you mix a bit of the old in with the new? I mean, it'll take a long time for 20 lbs to be gone but at least it won't go to waste? We have to do that with the cats' food, they won't eat the light alone but if I mix in the hairball they will eat it all.

Yeah, I'm going to try that. But I tried it with cat chow last night and woke up to neat(ish) piles of all the dog chow on the floor around the bowl. Hmmph.

I don't mind feeding her better quality stuff. (Her usual is Iams, so not crap, but.) But I'm not giving her the dog-equivalent of froot loops. It smells out of the bag and, um, smells out of other places too. I'll see how long the bag of Evangers lasts and see how the cost works out.

Oh man, I don't know if I could hang, you are a nicer mom than me, I refuse to give the cats the beef wet food because it reeks so much. I wish you luck in the food wars!

It's the stuff that started this all (Beneful or something) that stinks. The woo-woo health food stuff is okay.

And no way are either of them getting the wet stuff.

Cats don't get seafood catfood for that reason. Including their dry food. And all three have their own variety of food and don't eat the others', which I find amazing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Beneful is Walter's favorite junk food. He gets it sometimes visiting friends and he looooves it but I find it nasty. I can just wait him out if he tries to hunger strike after, he just isn't that stubborn about it.
