Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was afraid it was going to be the "killing potentially innocent people" one

I cannot BELIEVE you dislike Croatoan. Okay, I get your objections, but they don't harsh my love in the least.

Now I have to go listen to "Renegade."

I had that in my head for a solid day, until "Angel Of The Morning" took over.

"Vanilla chips" are just white chocolate chips, right?

I don't think so. I've never come across vanilla chips, but that's a different flavour from white chocolate.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I make red velvet cake with extra cocoa, no food dye, and cinnamon. It just ends up like spiced chocolate cake and i love it. spoiled me forever for commercially made red velvet that tends to taste more like food dye than cake, IMO.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Red #4 is nummy!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Red M&Ms are still very weird to me. I want to pick them out and toss them. But that would be a waste of chocolate.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm not sure I see the point of red food coloring in a red velvet cake. I mean, it's red velvet cake, obviously, but why not just skip it? You get a nice brown cake.

I am at the airport, waiting for my first flight. I love my tiny airport when there's no one in it. Also, checked a bag containing my stuff plus some stuff for my husband, who will join us next week. Under 50 pounds! It was a near thing.

Oh, and let's all pray I get a different seat assignment in SLC. I do not want a middle seat. DO NOT WANT.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yesterday at 2, I got Mockingjay off hold at the library. I've got 40 pages left in it. Too bad about getting any work done today. I have 3 hours before I pick up mac, I should crank out some work and should also probably shower and put on something other than sweats. Can't seem to really care, just want to read the book, then maybe sleep.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am so excited about the extra time off at Thanksgiving next week (which, WTF??), you would think I had been working hard! Yeah, NSM. Although maybe that's why I'm so over being here every day!

I need a new career.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm taking a few days off this week (two half days yesterday and today, and a full day on Thursday) so I can burn off at least some of my remaining PTO. I was going to work on my apartment cleaning yesterday afternoon, but when I got home, I watched tv for an hour, did some cross-stitching, and then fell asleep for three hours. Then I spent the next eight hours doing more cross-stitching. My hands are a bit stiff today from gripping the stretcher bars and needle! But, I did get a lot of backstitching done. Still have a lot more to go, but should have it all done by midway through my three-week leave next month.
