Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I thought that was a group, the Hat and Mitten Organisation. Huh.

My specialist has scaled back to no automatic refills of my pain meds. I totally don't get it, but now Mondays are spent chasing him down for a refill.

I fail to be outraged by the backscatter scanner. Do I need to be educated?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Happy birthday, sumi!

Erin, I hope you get something you like soon. That money stress sucks.

Allyson, I hope they fix up your pedi injury.

Some kind of carnation something that is like "moss on a stick" for a pop on green

That is one of the hottest things in floristry right now. A patented Dianthus, for the moment.

That's messed up, ita. I hope they change their mind about the refills.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cash, you should send that to ParentHacks!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Just sent it, Jessica! Thanks for the idea.

ita, that sounds like a clusterfuck of a Monday. I hope you get your refill.

Yes! Although it was smaller in the pic she showed me in the flower catalog.

Yeah, there are smaller ones I've seen pictures of as well. I don't know whether someone rush-breeded another one or whether they grow to different sizes depending on conditions.

Trust my rage

Cash, it might be because I am on my phone but I can't quite see how that goes together. But I really want one. Can you explain briefly?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have six small hooks (with the sticky backs). Place three along the top part of the door and three along the bottom of the door. Then measure the length of twine between the hooks, adding some extra before you cut. Then tie on 5-6 clothespins--knotting them onto the string by the metal coils. Then string the lines between two of the hooks. The clothespins stay in place and you just pin the hats and mittens up.

It's a craptastic picture--not focused. I need a new digital camera.

tommyrot - I cannot believe that I am older than that black hole.

Well, it was 30 about 50,000,000 years ago when the light we're seeing from it was emitted.
