I blew the new work schedule this morning. Decided to do a grocery run after dropping off mac, so I am an hour late getting started. I guess I can make up the hour tonight or early in the morning tomorrow, maybe.
I need to start training the person on the next set of things she is taking over. This is the stuff we were not sure we were going to hand off, so I made no prep documents with the procedures.
I also need to get at least one contact or application done each day for a new job.
I had to look up ranunculus. They're really pretty!
When she asked what flowers I liked this was one I knew to say! That and hydrangea, which I don't think she'll be using. And she asked if I liked tulips and I do!
Skipping far ahead to say Greetings from Jaipur!

I keep thinking homonculus from Full Metal Alchemist. But, I looked it up, and they are indeed pretty.
If I blame bon, at least I think it should be short-lived. But I'm sniffling and headaching and feeling grotty like nobody's business. I need to call in.
Yeah, it never got terrible, just a sore throat. So I hope that you have the same luck!

Heh. That fits in with my Batman post:
The Curious Case of the Homochiroptera
He's the scoundrels scourge. The lurker's lament. The dollymop's dilemma.
Those fiendish rogues and dragsmen can't hold a candle to this pugilistic man-bat!
It's incredible! We've only been to Mumbai and Jaipur so far. Mumbai is like this crazy inside out New York thing only with more people. The train last night was mostly a nightmare, but the people are so wonderful they made it all better. Was invited to a wedding (we can't go as it's the day we leave for Agra). And now have a lovely room, the first real shower in days and tailored clothes delivered to the hotel in the morning.
I will go into more details when I'm not on crappy hotel wi-fi.
