DH and I used to travel from NY to SC overnight by train. At that point in time the cell didn't work very well on the train, so Dh had started slowing down by the time we got to SC. I loved sleeping on the train eating on the train and watching movies and reading books. And traveling with 2 people was a good deal. cheaper than flying and took the same amount of time as driving. Sadly, trains are less reliable on this coast.

I'm watching the Nova about dogs On Demand and it's really good. Very interesting.
And I'm (finally) using my umbrella swift properly. (Although, I misplaced a crucial part to my ball winder so I'm just hand winding it.) And my cat is fast asleep right in front of it. That is the good part of having an older cat. A kitten would not allow this to happen in front of her without inciting chaos.

Interesting. My sister asked me to Priceline her a hotel room. I'm assuming those prices are pre-tax? When I called the hotel directly it gave me a different (lower) price, which is also lower than the price you get when you look them up on the JFK airport website. That doesn't seem fair.
