You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ugh - cleaning woman has been here 6 hours and hasn't even gotten to the kitchen yet. Quick, someone tell me I'm not a complete failure as an adult!

(I knew there was a reason I wanted to be out of the house for this...)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's probably not you, Jessica. She's been hired for all day, so she's going to take all day. Plus, she's probably trying to be extra thorough because you're in the house.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Along with a number of his other works on display, such as David 2020, Trojan Virus and There’s Something About Mary, comes this sculpture from Mauro Perucchetti, Modern Heroes, depicting Batman and Superman in a pose reminiscent of The Creation of Adam in The Sistine Chapel.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Why do the comments have nothing to do with the article? [link] Are people just hijacking the comments, or is the Sun Times just really random in how they organize comments?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Georgia was better represented by "I'll Fly Away," but I think we're stuck with the Dukes and Boss Hogg.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

"I'll Fly Away" was soooooo excellent.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mork & Mindy, Baywatch, Golden Girls--this isn't exactly a sociological exercise. It's a grab at laughs.

Always Anti-fascist!

I loved both "Evening Shade" and "I'll Fly Away" Retreat people are the same kind of dickwads who call me "simple" and "basic" cause I can't afford that many things. Assholes. Also, if they've ever had their voices taken away, they could never stop speaking. I have my written voice, and my spoken voice...that's about all I have that's mine.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The Walking Dead is also Georgia- (and Atlanta-) centric.
