Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday happies, Jess!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My present from DH was a professional apartment cleaning.

Ooh, that's a great present.

Did you forget to smize??

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ann, that's a ferret.

The latest in the kitten story.

We came up with names. The flame point is Arthur, and the seal point is Victor. No particular reason -- they popped into our heads and were okay with both of us.

We introduced Arthur and Victor to their older siblings yesterday. The older siblings are in various stages of WTFness with fair amounts of hissing and even a little growling. But Seamus is showing signs of wanting to bond with Victor. And Marie was willing to share the couch with Victor and me last night. (Hubs sat on the love seat with Arthur.)

Arthur and Victor, on the other hand, are having the time of their lives exploring the house and chasing each other all over the place.

Art Crawl!!!

Ah, kittens. They are insane with energy, aren't they?

Arthur and Victor are excellent names.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

A local Apache medicine man, Cranston Hoffman also confirmed the power of the site, with a very similar appraisal. He declared: “Here is where the Snake People live!”.

I like to think this means: "If you locate your pretentious mix of arrogance and co-opting of native rituals here, snakes will bite you."
