When I went to Greece, they had a wide variety of juices you could order, and a few times I ordered lemon. They'd bring me a glass of cool lemon juice and a dish of sugar, so I could sweeten it myself. I made it about half as sweet as regular US lemonade; it was delicious.

Yes!
Ti Couz serves their lemonade as a cruet of lemon juice, another of sugar syrup, a small pitcher of water (is it sparkling? I do not recall) and a glass of ice. So awesome.
I like my nose, and both Meyer and Liz Lemons.
It's a lemon party!
Lemon is great squeezed on savory things. Perks up the flavor.
I do like lemon flavoring on poultry, and occasionally I like a lemon bar, that kind of thing. I retract my hate a little.
I also find a little lemon rind on beef stew or bean dishes really wake up the flavor and I don't need to add salt
I can testify from personal encounters with both that javachik's nose is very cute indeed and her Meyer lemons are quite possibly the best on the planet.
Lemon bars are one of my favourite desserts. Amongst ones without chocolate they rank very highly. Except everyone but me makes them too sweet. Stop with the sucrose, people!
You're very kind, JZ!
ita, a good, tangy, lemon bar is divine.
That reminds me--I have a pint of HD Five Lemon ice cream in the freezer!
