I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I never sweeten iced tea, but sometimes hot tea for medicinal or sentimental reasons (I somehow got convinced that sugar is good for a sore throat).

If I do sweeten hot tea, I only use honey.

Compassionately intolerant

I never sweeten tea myself but struggle with guests/clients taking a dim view of my lack of milk/sugar/honey.

My dear Niki has gout in her hands. It seems truly horrible. Don't know about her OJ intake either.

Alas, poor Rubicon. It couldn't last.

Now I'm really bummed that Rubicon didn't wrap up in any way at the end of the season.

Coding and Sleeping

I'm so out of touch TV-wise, I've never even heard of Rubicon.

I'm the wierdo that doesn't like tea. Although I have found that most people apparently burn tea with too hot water, and I don't like the burned taste.

I've got to get myself weaned off of Diet Coke, and am thinking about using iced tea as a substitute, which is what my sister drinks. (No carbonation allowed after the surgery!) I've got an iced tea maker on my Amazon wish list that I'll probably order this weekend.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sorry about your dad, Plei. I hope they can get it next time, without too much more pain and effort.

My parents and sister got fancy electric kettles you can set to proper tea-making temperature (depending on the type of tea), and green and white teas, especially, do seem to taste better when made to spec. When I want most want tea, though, I am more wanting to breath the steam than caring about the taste. Or so it seems today when my sinuses are draining.
