Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is gout back, or was it just not as talked about over the past however many years? I feel like it's an old-timey old-man's problem, but suddenly it's everywhere.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm glad to see new cars (other than hybrids) finally getting better mileage than my '98 Monte Carlo. My dad wanted me to get a new car 3 years ago and I told him I would wait until someone built a car that I actually want. I was leaning toward Honda, but I'm curious about the Cruze.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's amusing all the way through, but it gets really interesting just over the 4 minute mark.

Oh dear. That was fun!

Oh shoot, that link left out the best part.

This seems to take over about where the other ends.

Yeah, that was hysterical....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I fully expect to get gout. And before I'm truly aged. It would just...you know my life works that way.

I don't like its styling. (Yeah, I'm weird that way.)

Orange juice gives women gout. Trufax.

My mom has gout, and she drinks orange juice daily. Hmmm...

I know a few people who have gout, but I think they're all older men. My friedn's DH swears that not eating berries in the summer keeps the gout at bay.

I've run out of coarse edging sandpaper. They gave me five disks. One disk did all of the hallway, and the other four only managed to survive a few feet each in the dining room. They were gummed up instantly

Hubby's had it on and off for years. He doesn't drink that much orange juice, and he'd be pissed if he had to give it up.

Has anyone here ever sanded floors themselves? I have a dumb floor refinishing question. I've done the first pass with coarse sandpaper. But there are areas where the floor is slightly uneven where the finish didn't come off. Do I do another pass to get those areas? Or do I move on to the next grade of sandpaper?
