You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The McDonald's drive-through was closed. CLOSED.

I thought they only did that on rare occasions - like the death of the Burger King.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll keep downloading and uploading Jesse, but I'LL GRUMBLE.

Delicious ROCKS (they don't have the irritating punctuation anymore). That's where I keep all my good fanwork links, and that's the simple way to share them with different people (my sister just checks the inception arthur/eames tag and ignores the rest of the stuff) plus bookmark stuff from work to home. And it's so much fun trawling strangers's tags for new stuff.

Aargh. The grill on my car is broken. How the fuck did that happen? And I'm sure it will cost a stupid amount of money to fix, dammit.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, anybody else have tomorrow (Veteran's day) off?

Maybe you could get one from a junkyard? or have your mechanic search for a used one?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, Theo, I would definitely go back and tell them that the problem they were asked to fix is still recurring and what can they do about it, gratis.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So, anybody else have tomorrow (Veteran's day) off?

No, but I do have 3 days off at Thanksgiving and 2 weeks off at Christmas!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So, anybody else have tomorrow (Veteran's day) off?

All of Chez Zmayhem. We'll probably jaunt down to the Mission for Burritos and Bi-Rite, pirates and taxidermy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My question is... when they TOTALLY failed to repair it whatsoever, and in fact spent $250 of my money doing it... do I have reason to ask for my money back, or for them to try another chip insertion gratis (because there's always the possibility they may have put a faulty new chip in, or damaged it when they were inserting it)?

Yeah, absolutely.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Nope, no Veteran's day off, but that's because it is all crazy all the time work trying to get ready for our fundraising convention/family holiday visit Thanksgiving trip. I am kinda not looking forward to it at all, except for the train ride bits.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Scheiss, a lot of spam is getting through my filter in the last couple days.

Go away!
