I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I remember when I used to be an early adopter for all this stuff. Did it change because I got out of the tech industry?

Anyway, Jesse, I submitted a link about the auto industry, but I dunno if it really constitutes good news or is too close to news news, so I trust your moderator judgment. I didn't know if I could put a note on it to draw your attention to it or not. So I didn't.

Because books.

delicio.us is a place to put all your bookmarks, on the web. Rather than keeping them all on one computer, you can bookmark things there and access them from anywhere.

Oh, that's so simple. Well, that's one down!

Always Anti-fascist!

That is the worst book review, ever. If I got it, I would cap myself.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Also, you can see other people's delicio.us bookmarks, if they allow it. I really like the tagging function. Being able to click on "SPN, Dean/Cas, PWP" is easier than searching through folders within folders under bookmarks for me, and it's useful in finding other people's content.

Yeah, delicio.us is awesome. And I love the tags, too, Calli. Once you've got a lot bookmarked, it's excellent to be able to go in and find "recipes:baking" or whatever.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

And you can subscribe to tags, so you can see the most recent things people have tagged. Which is mostly how I find fanfiction-- I click on, say "harry/draco" and I read what people have tagged lately.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Some blogs also use del.icious for link recommendations -- you see something that you think the blog would be interested in covering, and you tag it with that blog's name. Slightly easier than emailing links.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, Liese! I think it's good news, but am generally not actually moderating, just facilitating.

And the tumblr is convenient because they make it easy to link various kinds of things -- you don't need any HTML yourself.

I can't work out how to make that submission form use a URL to an image--I have to download and upload it. What am I missing? The forms for my other tumblrs let me.

Yeah, no idea. I can use a URL, but the submit form doesn't let you do that? You can submit it with info for me to change if you'd rather not download...
