"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh wow, I just tried Annie's mac and cheese for the first time, and it is SO much better than regular Kraft. Nom.

Yeah, we have the city scoped out for places where we can buy it cheap on sale. I do put butter in it, though. And lots of other stuff. Tuna if I'm having it with JZ. More cheddar and parmesan if with Emmett and Matilda. Bits of roasted chicken, or ham if for myself.

Sometimes I spaetzle it up with some dijon mustard. Which renders it Not Mac And Cheese, but still delicious and a nice change when you've had too much M&C that week.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Thanks for the recommendations for sources for golden syrup. I live in rural Oregon and discovered that Amazon charges almost as much for shipping as it does for the syrup. I'll put it on my list of things to look for on the next trip to Portland and, in the meantime, will make a batch with honey. I'm on a cookie baking binge lately and, until you mentioned it, forgot I had that recipe.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thank you, ita! We'd be happy to give your old tivo a new home.

My kids are reading a book to each other. OMG I am so in love with them right now. He's sounding out the words and she's helping him out.

I can't believe how much the time change is kicking my butt. Really, it's not even 7 yet? How can that be?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Really, it's not even 7 yet? How can that be?

Demons. I blame demons.

My kids are reading a book to each other.

Awww! So sweet.

My mom's told stories about how my sister would do that with me (she's 19 months older).

I look more rad than Lutheranism

LOVE the ending to Sherlock! Yes indeed.

Do not, in any way, love the actor playing Moriarty, nor do I love his portrayal and accent and enunciation (he sounded drunk). He reminds me of whatshisname, who played Phoebe's brother on Friends. Giovanni Ribisi? Bleh. Do not want.

Sherlock, though -- he is kind of a sexy bastard, isn't he? Damn.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

"Amy's" brand makes a frozen Macaroni And Cheeze (yes, a Z) that is not only vegan, but close enough to a real Kraft taste that it's added a comfort food I missed so very much back into my life.

Really, Tep? I still have to watch on HD but I dug Moriarty . I mean creepy as hell and all sorts of messed up but I like that in a villain sometimes.

Oh! After tonight, I will have all three eps on HD on my tv. There shall be nowhere I am Sherlockless. And this? Is good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool, Burrell. I hope the TiVo works out for you. Let's arrange something by email to meet up when you have time.
